It's impossible to beat a team that you're too scared to play.

As long as we are competitive in the Pac12 (which we are) and beating you most of time (which we do), I'm at peace (which I am)
    ps...have a nice day ☺

Perennial middle of the PAC 12 South and only team in that hasn't won a division title because the Utes choke EVERY November.

Eliminated by the WCC from post-season play in basketball 2 of the last 3 seasons and lost to the 5th place team in the WCC this season.

7th season in the PAC 12 and the ONLY men's conference championship you've won is in baseball.

Pac12 out of there league? Won the Pac12 in Baseball. Choked there way out of the Pac12 south title in Football 2 years in a row, and Basketball is a bit down at the moment.
6th out of 12 teams is not good....
3rd out of 10 in the feared WCC is something to behold.
    Stay strong Cougs

It was a spectacular flop wasn't it? We actually got a big kick out of it. Every one at my Duck party laughed about it. It's kind of nice to be able to laugh about things like that when you are beating your opponent easily. One of these days the Uties will realize that the Pac 12 is just out of their league. At least the top of it. Have fun down there in the lower areas. Kind of like playing in the MWC again.

You're the first one to mention BYU, and the U whine about others...

    typical Ute hypocrisy.

btw, don't understand why Utah are upset with the loss; U had zero chance of beating the Ducks on the road.

We seem to be getting all kind of support these days, but that's par for the course.

Don't flatter yourself; it was mentioned by an Oregon fan in a tweet.

They too thought it was laughable.

Tough loss but not all that unexpected.Oregon is solid I give them credit. He probably locks up an NIT bid. Oh well either way it's a great day to be a Ute!

What does BYU have to do with this story? Exactly my point...it doesnt matter if they have nothing to do with it...they always poach anyways. Its what they do....
Just getting those out of the way as I knew you all would be lurking.

Loved the Ute player staring down an Oregon player after a dunk...

    while trailing by double-digits.

"the fans in Eugene are disappointed"

Yeah, Brooks didn't favor them with another spectacularly bad flop. I don't blame them.

What does BYU have to do with this story?

I wonder if Krystkowiak whined about letting his players foul as much as they want without fouling out....

Thanks for allowing BYU to live rent free in your head 24x7.

btw, it's laughable how you conveniently omitted these:

    Utah 86, USF 89
    BYU 85, USF 75
    BYU 68, USF 52

I have to tell you folks, the fans in Eugene are disappointed. To beat a team like Utah by only 18 is not a lot better than a loss. Hopefully the Ducks can get over the disappointment in time for Colorado on the weekend. I did see one of the Utes get hit in the face when Brooks (I think) went down the middle. I was a little afraid that Larry was going to pull his team off the floor. You can never be to careful you know.

P5 conferences have a monopoly on the big dance.

Don't be surprised if the Utes do make it in.

Last year Saint Marys didn't make it in because they're WCC. BYU for that matter.

The final score is not indicative of how bad the UTES were man-handled.

    If Oregon goes full gas...

They could have easily scored well over 100 keeping UTAH easily below 50.

A big down...in an up and down season.

    Go UTES!

This was a tough one, especially without Kuzma. Oregon is a good team, and I agree with what someone else said, this just seems to be a tough match-up for the Utes. Good luck in Corvallis over the weekend Utes!

Coach Altman is a class act. He keeps his cool when things go wrong. LK could use a few lessons from him. LK just looks angry all the time.

I hope the utes were safe and that there were no exploding clip boards parts flying around.

Utes are out of the conversation for the NCAA at this point.

    ..................................

If the Utes play in the NIT maybe they'll be fortunate enough to play some unbelievably overrated midmajor and lay waste to them.

As a Ute fan, I've resigned to believe Utah may never beat Oregon in basketball again. I'm mostly kidding, of course, but it has been a long time, and most of the losses in the past four years have not even been competitive. It's simply a bad matchup for Utah, and Larry K can't seem to figure out how to close the gap.
